Pera Rocha
The most Portuguese of all pears. Pera Rocha do Oeste has an excellent shelf life and is resistant to handling and transport, even long-haul. It is yellow or light green in colour and can be distinguished by its russeting - a brownish area at the top. Its flesh is white and juicy.

PERA ROCHA DO OESTE
This is an exclusively Portuguese variety produced in the Oeste (West) region, mostly in the municipalities of Alcobaça, Bombarral, Cadaval, Caldas da Rainha, Lourinhã, Mafra, Óbidos and Torres Vedras, besides Sintra, from where it originated.
It is a versatile fruit, rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C and E and is perfect whether eaten raw or used in cooking.
Eaten when firmer or riper, Pera Rocha do Oeste is crispy, aromatic and succulent, and enjoyed by kids and grown-ups alike.
It is considered to be the choice fruit for infants. This fruit is produced in an eco-sustainable manner and is ideal for introducing into the diet.
It has a good shelf life, lasts longer and therefore helps to reduce waste.
Morettini Pear
This pear has a slightly acidic flavour, while being aromatic, juicy and sugary, making it an excellent variety. Its skin is smooth and straw coloured, with a reddish tone on the side that was exposed to the sun.
