IN 1969 WE FOUNDED COOPVAL, COOPERATIVA AGRÍCOLA DOS FRUTICULTORES DO CADAVAL, IN THE OESTE REGION OF PORTUGAL

We produce, store, pack, market and sell pears and apples. We are the largest Pera Rocha Producer Organisation, an aspiration that we fulfilled thanks to almost 300 producers with whom we have been growing for over five decades, and a team of multidisciplinary employees with strong specific sector know-how.

We grow the best our land has for you. We are committed to preserving biodiversity, we defend the sustainable use of natural resources and adopt best cultivation practices and techniques.

OUR PRODUCERS TAKE CARE OF THE BEST FRUIT IN THE OESTE REGION

They are where it all starts. They are the face of knowledge acquired over the course of several generations of farmers, who produce and select the best pears and apples produced in Cadaval, Oeste, the stately home of Pera Rocha.

WE INTRODUCE FLAVOUR TO THE WORLD

Brazil was our first export destination, back in 1977. Today, 80% of what we produce also reaches consumers in the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Morocco and Poland.

WE HAVE REINFORCED OUR COMMITMENT TO INVEST IN INNOVATION

With a covered area of 27 thousand square metres, our warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art storage technology, with a cold capacity of 28,000 tonnes, 80% in a controlled environment.

We invest in innovation and in the strict quality control and traceability of our products, in line with international food safety standards in a totally computerised environment. The certifications confirm the assurance of our meticulous production.
